BIG NEWS! After impressive showings throughout the summer, both the PrimeTime Power Penguins U11 and U13 Blue teams have qualified for the 2012 Dick’s Sporting Goods Tournament of Champions! The tournament, hosted by retail giant Dick’s Sporting Goods, takes place this coming New Years weekend in Wesley Chapel, Florida. In order to clinch a spot at the tournament, teams must place at the top of their division in one of the approved qualifying tournaments. The Penguins, after dominating their respective brackets this past weekend at the Yale Bulldog Bash, clinched a spot in this prestigious tournament.

All bids are “awarded by tournament staff members and are only given to the highest achieving teams in the nation.” Qualifying tournaments take place across the US (from California to Connecticut, and Texas to Illinois) with teams competing to play in the national championship tournament on New Years.
