PrimeTime Power Penguins Supplemental Tryouts for Summer 2012

The PrimeTime Lacrosse team is pleased to announce a round of supplemental tryouts 2012 Summer Power Penguin Select High School teams. Please see below for team offerings and descriptions and use the link below to register for tryouts. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO REVIEW OUR NEEDS BY YEAR OF GRADUATION BEFORE REGISTERING — Some teams have VERY limited roster openings.

Tryouts will take place at The Edge Sportscenter in Bedford, MA on Sunday, February 26th 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Please click the link the register, space is VERY limited and we are capping tryout numbers to ensure a fair evaluation.

Tryout Fee: $65

TEAM NEEDS:

2015 Year of High School Graduation — 2 Goalies, 2 Attackmen, 2 Midfielders

2014 Year of High School Graduation — 4 Defensemen, 5 Midfielders, 2 Attack

2013 Year of High School Graduation — 1 Goalie, 3 Defenseman, 5 Midfielders, 2 Attack

SUMMER HIGH SCHOOL– $1345 (Returning Penguins with Summer 2011 Equipment OR Fall/Winter 2011 Equipment — $1145)

2015 HS Year of Graduation — Wellesley, MA / Wrentham, MA

2014 HS Year of Graduation — Wellesley, MA / Wrentham, MA

2013 HS Year of Graduation — Wellesley, MA / Wrentham, MA

SUMMER Program Description:

• 8 Practices at Babson College in Wellesley, MA and/or King Philip Regional High School in Wrentham, MA
• 3 Summer Tournaments
• Professional Head and Assistant Coaches
• Custom Warrior Team Helmet, Gloves, Bag and Uniform

PrimeTime Power Penguins Overnight Team Camp:

Included in the price of PrimeTime Power Penguins Select team tuition, players will move in to the dorms at Babson College in Wellesley, MA with their teammates on the evening of June 8th, 2012 for an elite instructional camp run by the team coaches and other members of the PrimeTime Lacrosse staff.

This one of a kind select team camp allows teams to have several practices sessions with their summer coaching staff as well as planned team building opportunities for the entire PrimeTime Power Penguin family. Additionally, players at the camp will participate in several team age-appropriate sessions including leadership training, nutrition for athletes, balancing academics and athletics and navigating the college recruiting process, aimed at developing the complete athlete and starting the summer off in a fun way!

A NOTE ABOUT SUMMER TEAM PLACEMENT: At the commencement of tryouts, summer players may offered a roster spot on a Blue Select team, Orange Select team, and if enough talented players choose to tryout, a White Select team. The Blue teams are the best of the best in each respective age group, typically comprised of players  on the older end of a given age bracket. These teams will compete typically out of the New England region for 2 of their 3 summer tournaments and will be placed in the highest level of competition available to the team at that tournament. The Orange teams are also very competitive teams, but are slightly below the Blue Select in skill and oftentimes will be comprised of players more toward younger end of a particular age bracket. These players will likely compete within the New England region for 2 of their 3 summer tournaments. These are the players that we anticipate becoming Blue team players with more development and competitive lacrosse under their below. A White team, though not offered at every age group, will be selected if we feel we have an extraordinarily large number of talented group of players in a particular age bracket. These players may be newer to competitive lacrosse or on the younger end of a particular age bracket.
